Unicum is one of the oldest herb liqueurs in Europe. The production process and the more than 225 years old secret recipe have remained the same since Unicum was invented in 1790. The production today is in the hands of Sándor and Izabella Zwack, the 6th generation of the Zwack family

The plum which is native in our country proved to be an unique ingredient, which became a worthy match for the drink made with more than 230-year-old recipe. The uniqueness of the drink is guaranteed by Unicum, and there were no changes in the recipe which is kept as a family secret, neither in the aging in oak barrels, thanks to these Unicum Szilva still retains its traditional values.

Unicum Szilva is also Unicum, which rests on a bed of prunes and then matures in an oak barrel, thus turning into a light, harmonious and fruity drink.

A Unicum with more than 40 herbs and spices and arabica coffee extract matured in oak casks. This is Unicum Barista.

With Unicum Barista, which is a blend of Unicum and 100% Arabica coffee, we approached the time-honoured tradition of consuming a herb liqueur with coffee in an innovative way. A certain part of the arabica coffee comes from a hungarian coffe plant from Costa rica under the name Bányai.
