The Fütyülős brand was registered in 1935 by the predecessor of today’s Zwack Unicum Nyrt. Today, the brand offers a diverse range of flavors, allowing everyone—regardless of age or gender—to find their personal favorite.

The predecessor of the Fütyülős bottle, the portion-sized flask, was already in use during the Rákóczi War of Independence. At that time, guests in inns would signal that their drink had run out by simply blowing into the empty bottle. The bottle’s popularity was due to its stability and the whistling sound it made when blown into. Written records of the iconic bottle shape can be traced back to the 18th century.

In 2018, a world-renowned design studio gave this classic bottle shape a modern redesign. The year marked on the bottle commemorates the original trademark registration. The embossed honeycomb pattern serves both as a decorative element and as a nod to honey, one of the key ingredients that define the aromatic world of many Fütyülős flavor variations. The copper-colored cap pays homage to the distilling kettles of the past. The label combines tradition with the clean, modern Fütyülős logo.

The well-known and beloved traditional Fütyülős brand has preserved the values and traditions of the past while rejuvenating itself to meet the expectations of the modern age, evolving into a full product family. Fütyülős has maintained its fruity character, and alongside the traditional apricot flavor, honey-infused variants have been introduced, made even silkier by rich blossom honey.

Thanks to the brand’s characteristic innovative spirit, bold new flavors were introduced in 2013, such as Chocolate Hazelnut and Strawberry Rosé. Continuously evolving, the brand launched a new summer favorite in 2022—Watermelon. In 2024, Fütyülős reached another exciting milestone with the introduction of the youthful, vibrant Fütyülős Tutti Frutti, which quickly won over consumers with its refreshing and playful flavor. The wave of innovation continued in 2025 with yet another crowd-pleaser—the tangy and sweet Fütyülős Sour Cherry.
