The Ca’ di Rajo estate is one of the most progressively developing wineries in Italy. Its wonderful proseccos and spumantes faithfully reflect the Italian sparkling wine style. Fresh, fruitily light, with crunchy grape clusters flowing from the glass. Chilled with ice, it's an essential companion for terraces, but it also pairs excellently with fresh salads, light fish dishes, and chicken-based meals!
Bellussera is a traditional cultivation method in the Veneto region of Italy, discovered in the 19th century by the Bellussi brothers. The unique system was developed to help the vines fight downy mildew. It is an integral part of the region's winemaking culture, but since such land can only be worked manually, it is costly to maintain, which is why many producers opt for other cultivation methods.
The Ca' di Rajo winery values this tradition and blends it with modern technologies to craft its proseccos.
Prosecco is predominantly made from the Glera grape, and in the DOCG category, it must contain at least 85% of this variety. In addition, it can be blended with local varieties such as Verdiso, Perera, and Bianchetta, or international varieties like Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. The Glera grape variety originates from a village called Prosecco, near Trieste, which is where the refreshing, elegant drink gets its name.
Ca’di Rajo Mito Spumante
Among the wide range of sparkling wines that are extremely popular today, Ca' di Rajo Mito stands out as one of the freshest. Its pleasant fruitiness and smooth structure make it stand out from the other sparkling wines of the region. The intense aroma of acacia flowers gives the wine a fine elegance, complemented by notes of apple, lemon, and grapefruit. It is the perfect aperitif to pair with cheese platters or an excellent accompaniment to pasta dishes and seafood, such as oysters or shrimp. Balanced, full-bodied, and harmonious; a true Italian delicacy.
Ca’di Rajo Extra Dry
The extra dry category is Italy's most popular choice. This dry sparkling wine from the Italian Ca’di Rajo winery is made from Glera grapes using the Charmat method.
Citrusy aroma, fruity taste, gentle effervescence.
With its restrained sugar content, it is the perfect companion for summer evenings.
