The Dobogó Pincészet, founded in 1995, is a family-run winery located in the heart of the Tokaji wine region, specifically in the renowned volcanic soils of Mád. Their vineyards span 5 hectares, and the winery is led by Zwack Izabella and winemaker Domokos Attila. Their shared goal is to showcase Tokaj's fresh, vibrant, and exciting character to both Hungary and the world—not only through their famous aszú wines but also their dry wines. They aim to stay true to the centuries-old traditions of the region while offering a modern take on its rich winemaking heritage.
The Dobogó Winery considers it its mission to restore Tokaj to the global wine map and introduce Furmint internationally as a unique, indigenous grape and wine variety. Dobogó is the first and only Hungarian winery experimenting with Pinot Noir in Tokaj. Since its founding, the winery has received numerous Hungarian and international awards, trophies, and regional accolades at prestigious wine competitions: Decanter World Wine Awards Trophies, Pannon Bormustra Peak Wine recognitions, and Wine of the Year by Népszabadság’s Top 100 publication.
