Nyakas Winery

The winery takes its name from “Nyakas,” a ridge extending from the Gerecse Mountains, which cross the basin. It operates in the Zsámbék Basin, bordered by the western slopes of the Buda Hills and the southeastern slopes of the Gerecse range. The vineyards are located on hillsides near the villages of Tök and Budajenő. Thanks to the moderately warm climate, excellent exposure, limestone subsoil, and, last but not least, skilled professionals, the winery’s wines—especially the whites—consistently rank among the best in the region.
