Since we’re a winery, tasting is what it’s really all about—and unfortunately, we haven’t quite figured out how to offer that online just yet. So, you’ll have to visit us here in Szekszárd!
Our family cellar originates from the Iván Valley, with traditions going back at least four generations. Still, we’re considered part of the young and dynamically evolving generation of Szekszárd winemakers—at least for a few more years, because soon we’ll no longer be able to call ourselves “young.”
The year 2018 was especially significant for us, as it marked Janó’s twentieth independent, anniversary harvest.
We cultivate over 10 hectares and produce around 50,000 bottles annually, depending on the vintage—always aiming to bring out the best of our terroir. This philosophy guides us through every stage of the winemaking process, whether we’re working with Kadarka, Kékfrankos, white varieties, or any full-bodied international grape.
