The creation of the winery is essentially a return to the location of Szabolcs Homola’s childhood adventures. The background in sailing and the commitment to Lake Balaton pointed straight to establishing a personal vineyard. After a long search, they found the starting point in Paloznak, and the first harvest took place in 2009. Gradually, the estate center was built, and they succeeded in hiring Attila Homonna, the renowned Tokaji winemaker, as the chief winemaker. The 100% wine family presents fresh, fruity, reductive wines, offering a true summer Lake Balaton feeling, while the Homola series showcases barrel-aged, spontaneously fermented wines that reveal the characteristics of the terroir. They own about 10 hectares in the Paloznak, Csopak, Balatonfüred, and Tihany areas.
