Zwack Unicum has reached another important milestone in its more than 230-year history: we have created Unicum Trezor XO, a limited-edition, exclusive herbal liqueur, marking our entry into the luxury segment as the first Hungarian beverage brand to do so, where tradition and innovation meet the luxurious lifestyle.
Unicum Trezor XO is aged in oak barrels for 10 years, as indicated by the "XO" label, which stands for "Extra Old" and originates from cognac production, reflecting a decade-long maturation process. After this 10-year period, the liqueur undergoes further aging in French wine spirit barrels, where it acquires its unique character. The aroma includes hints of vanilla and tropical spices, with additional oaky, woody notes, while the taste is dominated by the complex, spicy flavor of over 40 herbs, complemented by mature oak and chocolate undertones.
Unicum Trezor XO is presented in an elegant rectangular bottle, which, thanks to its transparent glass, makes the pure color of the drink clearly visible. The bottles are numbered, and each vintage is unique, available in limited quantities, making Unicum Trezor XO a true treasure for collectors of fine spirits.
